Court Process

Louise and her team recognise that survivors of sexual violence don’t always proceed through to court. Accordingly there are many stages of engagement.

They have many years experience supporting survivors through the court process as well as social services agencies.

Courts around New Zealand vary greatly, including in terms of their size, the way and number of people they serve and the culture among the staff who work there.

Louise and her team have vast experience with a wide network of people within the justice system.

They authentically walk alongside the survivor, their whānau and support them in a very real way. The approach is unique and has been the driving reason Louise has remained an independent service.
